I looked at a calendar the other day and realized it was almost April and decided I should update the blog. It's been a busy month. We are so happy to have Newman home from Fort Bragg safe and sound. For those of you wondering, two of his men are still in the hospital, but they are recovering steadily. Jack was so happy to see his daddy when he got home. He was all smiles:)
We also welcomed home our good friend Adam who has been in Afghanistan. We all went to the homecoming and were so happy to see him and Aurora together again. Their baby, John, should be here soon. Jack can't wait to play with him!
We are still waiting on our house to sell. We have had some traffic, but no offers yet. We're praying for a quick sale since we are moving down to SC in May. Fingers crossed!!
That's the family update, so now on to Jack... He is still such a good baby! He is so happy and easy going. He loves eating table food like grits, bread and his new favorite is yogurt. He still only has two teeth, but he sure does know how to work them! He is all over the place and in to everything. He had his 9 month check up a couple of weeks ago and he was 23.6 pounds. He's healthy and perfect, to his mommy and daddy at least! Here are a few of our favorite pictures from this month.
Jack really likes puffs. He bee lines for them whenever he sees his snack cup or the puffs container. One day it was on the couch. I went to the kitchen and came back a minute later and he had climbed up to get them. He then shook them out and sat down and ate them all. The picture below is another puffs adventure.
Sitting outside watching dad wash the cars.
Look at him go!!! I wish I could kiss those chubby cheeks. I will try to wait patiently until May. :)
