Jack's Photo Shoot

Last week, our friend Katie's sister was in town and she happens to be starting a photography business in France. She had never done a newborn shoot and wanted pictures for her portfolio and Jack just happened to be a very cute and willing subject. She did such a great job and she captured many of our favorite Jack faces. Here are just a few of our favorite shots. Thanks Amy!

Play date with Parker

Jack had his first play date last week with his friend Parker. Parker's dad works with Newman and his mom is my friend Heather (the one from the delivery room:).). He is 10 1/2 months old and was very interested in the little thing that just laid around all morning. He tried to play with Jack on his ocean mat and then tried again when Jack was laying around on the couch. We are looking forward to Jack being able to really play with Parker and all of the other little friends we have in Jacksonville.

Church, Tummy Time, and Hanging Out with Mom and Dad

Jack had a busy week. The highlight had to be tummy time on his new activity mat. He loves being on his tummy and working out those neck muscles. He was intrigued by the bright colors and sounds his mat made. It was a big hit! This week we also enjoyed going on our first evening walk with the dogs, having dinner with mom's friends, hanging out with dad after work and going to church Sunday morning. It's been a great week!

It was a big week. Jack got his first real bath and celebrated Independence Day and his Mom's birthday. Dad had to go back to work but Jack still gets plenty of man time on the weekend. It's about time Jack gets acquainted with "the shop."
