What a busy month!

We've had such a busy month. Newman was training at Fort Bragg, we finally got to meet Winnie and Jack turned 4 months old. In addition to that, I'm finishing up my final days at school. I'm really looking forward to spending more time at home with Jack!

Here are a few of our favorite pictures from the month.
Jack doing some tummy time and holding his head up like a champ. The doctor was very impressed with his head control.

It was so great to see Jack and his cousin Winnie together. When they were on the same schedule, they were very curious about each other. Winnie offered her hand for Jack to chew on and Jack loved cooing and talking to his sweet cousin. Jack can't wait until they get bigger so they can be best friends!

What are the odds... two little monkeys! Winnie and Jack modeling their halloween costumes!

We also started oatmeal this month. Jack was a little unsure of it to begin with, but he quickly got the hang of it. He can't wait to try veggies next week.

Our little monkey is growing so fast.

Smiles with a little surprise at the end.

Football Time

Despite the team confusion Jack still loves watching his ACC football. This week he turned 3 months old. His biggest accomplishment is the discovery his hands. He loves to play with them and stare at them until he goes cross-eyed.

Jacks started his new daycare at Mrs. Heather's house. He loves playing with playing with Parker but Parker can't wait for him to get a little bigger.

Well, Hurricane Earl turned out to be a huge disappointment. We barely got any rain and no wind. Jack's daycare apparently did not get the message that the hurricane missed us so they were closed on Friday. Cindy still had school, so Jack got to spend the day with his dad at Battery G.

Things around here have gotten real busy real quick. I've gone back to school, Newman's busy at work and Jack's busy being adorable:).

Jack had his two month check-up on August 18th and he's doing great! He was 11 lbs 6 oz and 22 in. He's growing so fast. We're currently battling what we think are baby allergies, but he's smiling through all of the coughs and sneezes.

Speaking of smiles... he is smiling all of the time at his mommy and daddy now. I was lucky enough to get a picture of him smiling at Newman last week. I think it's my favorite picture to date. Those smiles are the best thing for us to come home to after a crazy day at work.

Jack went out on the boat for the first time yesterday. We took some friends out on the river and since the weather was cooler and the water was calm we decided to take the little man. He was such a good sport. He slept under an umbrella at the front of the boat most of the trip.
I'm two months old today!

Enjoying the last weeks of summer

Sorry we haven't posted in a while... it's been a busy few weeks filled with family fun! Jack got to meet so many new people! The Landa family came up our way for a beach vacation. We got to enjoy a little beach time and Jack got to meet Aunt Kate, Uncle Geoff, his cousin Emerson, Aunt Emily and Uncle Randy. He also got to spend some more time with Tullie and G. It was a great week!

We also got to spend some time with Aunt Kristy, Uncle Brandon and Mari Cagle and Nate! MC and Nate are practicing for their own little baby boy, so it was fun to see them play with and help take care of Jack. Caz is a lucky little guy to have these two around:)
